WRAT Recognition Night 2014
Bedford Middle School on Friday, April 25, 2014
The coaching staff and the Water Rats Parents’ Club invite all Water Rats and their parents to WRAT Recognition Night, the swim team’s annual awards and recognition banquet. It will be held at Bedford Middle School at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2014.
This year the dinner will be catered by Stiles. The price will be $10 per Water Rat swimmer and $20 per parent or you can buy a Family-of-Four-or-More ticket for $50. Please download the RSVP form and return it, with a check payable to Water Rats Parents’ Club, to Sylvia Ortega by April 18, 2014.
The menu will include:
- Grilled veggies
- Pasta, mozzerella, basil
- Garden salads
- Caesar salads
- Grilled chicken w/ snap peas
- Tortellini & broccoli
- Lemon chicken
- Platters of pinwheels
- Chicken fingers
- Spaghetti w/ sauce & meatballs on side
- Plain penne
- Eggplant Parma
WRAT Recognition Night is an old tradition and it is one of the few times that the entire team is together. Graduating high school seniors will be recognized for their many years on the team; middle school swimmers will be recognized for their achievements in the pool and out; and elementary school team members will be recognized for having survived the Short Course season. The awards and recognition ceremony – which follows dinner – will end with a slideshow, which highlights the team’s season. The evening is truly one of the best on the Family Y calendar.
