Water Rats Honored In and Out of Pool

USA Scholastic All Americans, CT Scholar Athletes, and CT Top 16

Water Rat swimmers are doing well in the pool and in school.

Bryce Keblish and Daniel Williams recently were awarded USA Swimming Scholastic All American recognition, which means that they had at least a 3.5 GPA for the previous school year and they swam at least one race equal, or lower, to a Junior National 2011 bonus time. (This is the first year for Daniel and the second for Bryce.)

Bryce and Daniel also were recognized as CT Swimming Scholar Athletes as were Aileen Coyne and Max Wimer.

Sarah Grinalds recently placed 7th in the USA Swimming Top 10 for the 50M Free.

Sarah and 34 other Water Rat Swim Team members have been invited to the 2014 Annual Awards Banquet, where Connecticut Swimming honors swimmers from the Nutmeg State. Connecticut’s top 16 swimmers in each individual event for each age group, including the Open Water Championship, and Connecticut Scholar Athletes have been invited to the banquet, which will be held at the Aqua Turf Club on November 2, 2014.
