2016 SC Championship Roundup

Congratulations to all the Water Rats who swam at Regionals, Seniors, AGs, and Y New Englands. The team swam fast at all these meets!

At Seniors, the Men’s Team came in second and the Men’s and Women’s team combined came in third. And, Sarah Grinalds broke her own 50M record in a time of 26.43.

Following Seniors, on March 12, 2016, a group of 12 of our 8/under swimmers attended Y New Englands at MIT. The 8/under girls placed first in their division and the 8/under girls and boys combined placed first as well. And, Annam Olasewere broke her 25 fly record in a time of 15.17.

While our 8/unders were swimming up in Massachusetts, several of our Age Group swimmers attended Age Groups at Chelsea Piers. Many had best times, and one, Jude Dequeljoe, was selected to attend Eastern Zones Age Group SC Championships in Webster, NY at the end of March.
