Jude Dequeljoe Breaks 32 Year Old Y NE Record

The great news from the 2015 YMCA New England Swimming Championships continues. Not only did the 8/u girls win the team title with just five swimmers, but the 8/u boys were runner ups with only 5 swimmers as well. The boys team included Jude Dequeljoe, Andrew Berkowitz, Liam McMahon, Ben Burmeister, and Troy Kudjravstev.

Jude broke a 32 year old New England YMCA record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 29.56 and broke the team record in the process. He also eclipsed his own team record in the 25 free with a time of 13.87 on the way to a first place finish! (Missed that NE record by .06!)

All the kids had great swims and many placed in their events.
