Board Vacancies

The Water Rats Parents’ Club Board needs  a USA Swimming Coordinator. We’re looking for someone who is organized and has some knowledge of accounting. You also should be familiar with, or willing to learn about, Team Unify. This is a board position that requires attendance at monthly meetings. This is an opportunity to be on the Board, understand the inner workings of the swim team and earn all your volunteer points for the year.

The Board is also needs a Secretary. This position requires monthly meeting attendance to take notes on what transpires at the Board meetings.

We also have three Concessions Manager positions open for the upcoming 8/Under Meet, Age Group Meet and 10/Under Meet. Responsibilities include supervising the sale of food and beverages and heat sheets at home swim meets with 2-3 water rat parent volunteers. This is a great way to become involved with the Parents’ Club and earn volunteer points.

Calling all Senior Parents

Katie Holmberg has graciously agreed to take on Assistant Meet Manager for the Senior Spring Invitational, which is held at Wesleyan University, but she needs a partner. There is no better way to earn almost all your volunteer points for the year and be on deck with your swimmer.
